You might already know how to do this but I'll write here what I did just in case you don't. There might be a better way but this worked for me. Hey, I ended up unsubscribing to all the maps, finding the location of the workshop content on my PC deleting all of it then resubscribing to the most popular 8 maps or so and then re downloading the rest in game as I came across them. Also I did get a couple maps to appear in the pavlov menu after one of the smaller seemingly random updates when I created my own lobby and was able to start a game in one but still not able to join any games on that map or any other besides the bridge, sand, and data centre the original three.Īny suggestions? I thought maybe a file name was wrecked and steam or pavlov is looking or putting stuff in the wrong place but I don’t know. Sometimes it behaves like it is downloading a map with a 100-300 Mb workshop update but it never makes any difference. Tried subscribing and unsubscribing to maps. Steam on my pc was doing some strange huge 28Gb update for pavlov that is “workshop content” which I thought might fix it but it did the entire download and then said “cancelled update” twice! I deleted and reinstalled the game. I fiddled for a bit and discovered I could play on the three original maps that came with the game but nothing with workshop. I could play offline, get into any lobby, chat with people, but as soon as the game started I would get hung up on “connecting”. Then, the other day when I tried to get into a game it wouldn’t connect. So I play pavlov a fair bit, never had any trouble with it.
